Si Hwan Jin

Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Jin's path into Chinese Medicine began through personal experience. After completing a degree in Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Melbourne, he entered the engineering workforce before developing chronic fatigue. When conventional treatment provided limited improvement, he sought care through Chinese Medicine and experienced a significant improvement in his own health. That experience changed the way he viewed healthcare and inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine at Torrens University, where he later trained under the same practitioner who first treated him.

With foundations in both biomedical science and traditional Chinese Medicine, Jin enjoys helping patients understand their health from both perspectives. He believes that treatment is most effective when patients understand what is happening in their body and feel confident in the plan moving forward.

Jin provides both acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, with a particular interest in identifying the underlying patterns contributing to a patient's presentation. His treatment plans are individualised, practical, and designed to evolve as your health changes over time.

My approach

I believe the best healthcare starts with understanding.

Chinese Medicine offers a unique way of looking at the body, identifying patterns that may explain why symptoms develop rather than viewing them in isolation. My role is to combine this traditional perspective with a clear, practical explanation so you understand not only what we're treating, but why.

Whether your treatment involves acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, or a combination of both, every plan is tailored to your individual presentation and adjusted as your health changes. My goal is to help restore balance, support your body's natural healing processes, and give you confidence in the path ahead.

When working with me...

You'll notice I take the time to explain my thinking.

I enjoy helping patients understand the connections between their symptoms, lifestyle, and overall health so that treatment feels collaborative rather than confusing. There are no rushed consultations or one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Every recommendation is based on your individual presentation and designed to support long-term health, not simply short-term symptom relief.

My aim is for you to leave each appointment feeling informed, supported, and confident in both your treatment plan and your understanding of your own health.

My goal is to help you understand your body, restore balance, and feel confident in your health journey.
